Where to start?

I’ve been wanting to start a food blog for a while. Now, where to start– a little bit about me? I’m Emma. I’m obsessed with food. Enough said…A basic cooking tutorial? You can expect stocking the pantry/ fridge/ freezer entries later….First recipe? Too many to choose from!

Never Not Hungry is for college students (or anyone looking for quick, delicious recipes.) My goal: show you guys just how EASY, HEALTHY, AND AFFORDABLE cooking can be….not to mention, it’s super rewarding.

My philosophy on cooking: If there’s a healthier, organic version of an ingredient, use it!! Chances are it will be just as flavorful and you’ll be doing your body a favor. Secondly, cooking should be fun and easy, not about writing meticulous grocery lists and following recipes perfectly. Don’t fret over chopping when something was meant to be diced and don’t worry about using cumin instead of paprika. It will work! Especially with college cooking, when time and money are so limited, substitute ingredients with whatever you have in the kitchen. Third, never count calories. Use your time and energy creating balanced, satisfying meals instead. And always make time to cook for friends. Food is best served among good company, plus studies show you eat less around others.

What you can expect from this blog: drooling, becoming (almost) as obsessed with food as I am, and always expect a side of sarcasm…

P.S. This layout/design is very temporary. Any graphic designing whizzes out there, feel free to help!
