Gift Guide for the Homebody

Hey, friends! I’m doing something new this holiday season…I love shopping (and especially love online perusing) so it seems only natural to create gift guides! I’ll have about 8 gift guides coming in the month of November, so you’ll have plenty of time to pick out the right gifts and get them in time for the holidays. (But hey, don’t limit yourself to the holidays-these are great for birthday gift ideas too.) I’ve put in a lot of thought and research, along with a few of my favorite things, to bring these to you. Here, I hope you find something-or everything-you need for the people on your shopping list this year.

This first one is near and dear to my heart: it’s for the homebody. The person who would be totally fine never leaving the house (ok, maybe they’re not hermits, but they want to pick and choose what they go to and leave the house on their terms). Homebody evokes images of all things cozy, relaxing, and a little luxurious. Hey, if you’re going to spend the majority of your waking hours at home, why not be cozy, comfortable and have everything you need to keep yourself entertained?!

Okay, so let me be honest: this is me. I’m a homebody. I’m a homebody and don’t care who knows it! THIS GUIDE IS BASICALLY FOR ME. (Family and friends, take note.) It’s so funny…if you had told me 10 years ago that I would love to be home, I would have splashed my well-liquor, probably-gonna-make-me-sick drink in your face at whatever local college bar I was at. Now, as I get older (and get more and more dogs and books), I’m content with staying home as much as possible.
