March 2019 Cookbook Clique

[heart_this] · Mar 6, 2019 · Leave a Comment

Why is cooking dinner so hard to pull off some nights?  I might have a perfectly good meal plan for the week and plenty of groceries, but by the time dinner comes around, I’m uninspired and unmotivated to cook.  That’s where this month’s pick for cookbook clique comes in!  Milk Street Tuesday Nights, from Chris Kimball (of America’s Test Kitchen and, now Milk Street, fame), aims to solve our weeknight dinner dilemma with plenty of delicious, unique and fast recipes.  The contents are broken down by Fast, Faster, and Fastest, with chapters for easy additions, supper salads, pizza night, one pot, roast and simmer and even desserts!  There’s hardly a recipe in here I wouldn’t want to cook.  Plus a lot of the recipes veer into international flavor territory, so it gives us a chance to try things we may not normally choose to cook.  Here’s a few of my must-make recipes!

ABOUT ME

Hi. I’m Amanda. I love food, cooking, sharing it with others and documenting it. I’m a little of this and little of that-taste while you go type of cook.  I found a true passion over the years when I really began to understand how deeply connected food and love are.
