Never Not Hungry

On Sundays We Brunch: Series 12

Welcome to On Sundays We Brunch Series Twelve!  I’m hoping this will be a time for us to talk about life like we’re really sitting together over brunch and share favorites…articles, recipes, products, books, inspiration, whatever it may be!

Brunch is my favorite because the spirit is light, you have the whole day ahead of you afterwards, and all food is fair game and it often involves champagne.  Urban Dictionary defines brunchin’ as “Midday lunchin’ acting a fool in the mid-morning to lunch time”.  Could there be a more fitting description?

Grab a mimosa, pull up a chair and let’s chat!  Oh, and if anyone wants to act a fool, I’m game.

My birthday was this week, so I celebrated with some cupcakes!  Okay, and a cute Rice Krispies treat too, but it sparked a recipe idea so it was totally justified, right?  I also got some great news on my birthday which made it extra-special…more to come on that at a later date (hopefully!).

There’s salt and ice on the driveway and it’s not because we’re sitting out there drinking margaritas.  16 DAYS UNTIL SPRING!

THE BEST THING I ATE ALL WEEK:

I had a boring week, food-wise, but these cake batter cupcakes from Molly’s Cupcakes NEVER DISAPPOINT.  This is not the only one I had this week…

I will recreate these one day!  The cupcake is a moist white cake with a gooey cake batter filling and the cutest blue sprinkle-topped frosting!  They are seriously the best cupcakes I’ve ever had.

RECIPES I’M LOVING:

WHAT’S COMING NEXT WEEK:

Green goddess tuna melts, bread pudding, cute little asparagus tarts with honey, chicken Marsala, some banana muffins and my cookbook pick for March…plus another edition of On Sundays We Brunch!  Join me next week for more deliciousness!
